Interviewing Strangers

This is Nate Weber and he is the Assistant Equipment Manager of all sports here at Washington State University. He is 36 years old and has worked here for almost 15 years. Nate lives in Pullman and grew up in Colton, Washington. His favorite memory from this winter break was being able to travel to Arizona for the Cheez-It Bowl. He said even though it was rainy most of the time, it was nice to get away from the snow and cold weather for a week and celebrate Christmas with football team.

This is Mike Larson and he is a Sophomore Software Engineering major here at Washington State University. He is 19 years old and is originally from Issaquah, Washington. Over the winter break Mike built his own website. He said he did this because it will increase his chances of getting a job in the future and hopefully an internship this summer. Mike also had a big family gathering for Christmas where he participated in a gingerbread house contest. He said he sadly got second place because his grandmother worked on hers for three hours.

This is Jazmyne Jackson. She is 21 years old and is a microbiology major here at Washington State University. Jazmyne hopes to research diseases and what are the cures for those diseases. She is originally from Oak Harbor, Washington, but says she is a military child and has lived all over the place. Over winter break Jazmyne went to Virginia to visit her family. She said is very special because they all went to the beach and played games and said it was one of the few times the family was able to be with each other. She said she loved watching Christmas Vacation with her family as it is her favorite movie.
